Tyler earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2024. He is currently pursuing an M.S. degree in Robotics. His current research is on the use of Omnimagnets for magnetic manipulation of nonmagnetic objects for on-orbit servicing. In his free time he enjoys playing space-related video games like KSP and Terra Invicta, watching movies, hiking, and marksmanship.
