Andrés earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah. He then earned an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics Track), working under Dr. Jake Abbott. His research involved magnetic haptic devices and vibrotacile display using kinesthetic haptic devices.
